It is important to clearly mark your yard waste can so it is not mistakenly left to be removed as trash.
Please do not have sticks and branches sticking out the top of the barrel.
You may choose to bundle/tie sticks and leave them at the curb-- just be sure they are not too long/big/heavy.
Paper leaf bags are also a great way to leave your yard waste at the curb. Again, please don't have sticks and branches sticking out the top.
Please check with your municipality about
their collection policies for yard waste. Some communities pick up yard waste only on specific days.
Remember:
no plastic bags.
